Description
Polski: Święto Wojska Polskiego ustanowione na pamiątkę zwycięskiej Bitwy Warszawskiej jest hołdem dla naszych przodków, którzy obronili latem 1920 roku niepodległość odradzającej się Rzeczpospolitej. Jest również wyrazem najwyższego uznania dla tradycji i dorobku polskiego oręża. W przeddzień Święta Wojska Polskiego wojewoda łódzki Tobiasz Bocheński razem z kombatantami oraz młodzieżą oddał cześć Bohaterom Wojska Polskiego - uczestnikom wojny polsko-bolszewickiej 1919-1920 na cmentarzu pw. Św. Anny w Łodzi. Łódzkie uroczystości zainaugurowała msza święta w intencji Ojczyzny, którą celebrował abp Grzegorz Ryś. Główne obchody odbyły się przed grobem Nieznanego Żołnierza, gdzie nastąpiła uroczysta zmiana warty, okolicznościowe przemówienia, apel pamięci Oręża Polskiego, salwa honorowa, złożenie wieńców i kwiatów, a także defilada kompanii honorowych.
