Description
Deutsch: Annaberg-Buchholz, St. Annenkirche: Die St. Annenkirche in Annaberg-Buchholz ist eine Hallenkirche an der Schwelle zwischen Spätgotik und Renaissance und mit 65 Metern Länge und 40 Metern Breite die größte reine Hallenkirche der Spätgotik in Sachsen. Der Turm ist 78 Meter, der Innenraum der Kirche 28 Meter hoch. Sie ist das Wahrzeichen der Stadt und weithin sichtbar. Die St. Annenkirche wurde ursprünglich ab 1499 als katholisches Gotteshaus errichtet. 1539 wurde sie evangelisch-lutherisch.
