Description
Deutsch: 30.05.2021 01705 Freital-Potschappel, Platz des Handwerks (Bahnhofsvorplatz, Am Bahnhof 2): Der Bahnhof Potschappel (GMP: 51.013210,13.661866) wurde am 28. Juni 1855 eröffnet. Die Bahnlinie führte zunächst von Dresden bis Tharandt und wurde später weiter ausgebaut. Der Bahnhof Freital-Potschappel (bis 1921 nur Bahnhof Potschappel) ist eine Betriebsstelle der Bahnstrecke Dresden-Werdau. Von 1884 bis 1972 war der Bahnhof Ausgangspunkt der Schmalspurbahn Freital-Potschappel-Nossen. Heute dient Freital-Potschappel insbesondere als Zugangsstelle zur Linie S3 der S-Bahn Dresden.
