Deutsch: 08.02.2020 01734 Oelsa (Rabenau): Naturdenkmal Götzenbüschchen (GMP: 50.948711,13.655640). Hier treten zwei geologisch bedeutungsvolle und in ihrer Kombination seltene Naturerscheinungen auf: 1. Tropische Rotlehme, die durch Verwitterung des Grauen Gneises entstanden sind und einen hohen Ton (Kaolinit und Illit) - sowie Eisengehalt (Hämatit) besitzen. 2. Tone und Sandsteine, die aus Ablagerungen des Kreidemeeres hervorgegangen sind, Versteinerungen (Fossilien) aus dieser Zeit enthalten, und die vorher gebildeten tropischen Rotlehme vor der Abtragung bewahrt haben. Die Geschichtsschreibung berichtet, dass vor der Einkehr der christlichen Religionslehre hier die slawische Gottheit Püstritz verehrt wurde. Ein steinernes Götzenbild soll hier bis 1068 gestanden haben. Dann wurde es auf Weisung des Bischoffs Benno von Meißen beseitigt. Sicht von Süden. [SAM2347.JPG]20200208110DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
