Description
Español: El secretario regional ministerial de Obras Públicas de La Araucanía, Henry Leal, inspeccionando la construcción del puente Meli, que cruzará sobre la Ruta S-215, la vía férrea, y el río Cautín, para conectarse luego con la Ruta S-31, que une las ciudades de Temuco y Vilcún, en Chile. El puente tendrá una calzada vehicular de 7 metros de ancho, aceras de 2 metros, y ciclovías de 2,5 metros de ancho. La obra es ejecutada por la Dirección de Vialidad del Ministerio de Obras Públicas de Chile, con una inversión superior a los 18 000 000 000 de pesos chilenos (más de 23 600 000 dólares estadounidenses de 2020). La construcción culminará en marzo de 2021.
