Description
Deutsch: Der Lutherberg nordwestlich von Fernwald-Steinbach. Auf diesem befand sich im Kalten Krieg der Feuerleitbereich der Nike-Raketenstellung Albach mit 5 Radargeräten. Nach Aufgabe der Raketenstellung wurde alles abgerissen und der Bereich anschließend renaturiert. Auch der Hügel, der bei der Errichtung der Stellung zu einem Plateau umgeformt worden war, wurde wiederhergestellt.
English: The Lutherberg (Luther Hill) northwest of Fernwald-Steinbach, Hesse, Germany. On this hill during the Cold War the Integrated Fire Control (IFC) of a Nike missile site has been situated with 5 radar devices.
