Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Tiled mural and pottery display in the Sphinx Passage in Maastricht, Netherlands. The Sphinx Passage is a semi-public covered walkway, situated between the 1930s Eiffel Building and the modern Pathé Cinema, in the heart of the Sphinx Quarter, the former site of the Petrus Regout and Royal Sphinx potteries. The blind east wall of the passage is entirely tiled, showing Maastricht's history as an early industrial pottery town. This part of the wall is dedicated to the history of pottery decorated with Boerenbont motives.
