Description
English: The Hiroshima Peace Memorial, also known as the Atomic Bomb Dome, in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The building was located near the hypocenter of the atomic bomb used on Hiroshima by US forces on August 6, 1945, and was one of the few nearby structures to survive the blast. It has since been designated as a memorial for the bombing, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
