Description
Deutsch: Blick durch die "Kokereiallee" der Kokerei Zollverein in Essen, Ruhrgebiet. Rechts die ehemaligen Koksöfen. Seit dem 14. Dezember 2001 gehören die Zeche (Schachtanlagen 12 und 1/2/8, nicht Schachtanlagen 3/7/10 und 4/5/11) sowie die benachbarte Kokerei Zollverein zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Zollverein ist Ankerpunkt der Europäischen Route der Industriekultur (ERIH).
English: Kokerei Zollverein is part of the Zollverein Coal Mine industrial complex, a large former industrial site in the city of Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has been inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since December 14, 2001 and is one of the anchor points of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
