Description
Deutsch: LINAC II und DESY II sind Elektronen-Vorbeschleuniger für den Speicherring PETRA III, der zusammen mit dem Freie-Elektronen-Laser FLASH als Lichtquelle für die Forschung mit Photonen dient. Ebenfalls eingezeichnet ist der europäische Röntgenlaser European XFEL, der vom DESY-Campus bis in die schleswig-holsteinische Stadt Schenefeld verläuft.
