City of Vancouver FIREBOAT 1 (FB-1), running under Lion’s Gate Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: City of Vancouver FIREBOAT 1 (FB-1), going under Lion’s Gate Bridge from Burrard Inlet into Vancouver Harbor, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on August 31, 2018.

FIREBOAT 1 (FB-1) is FireStorm 40 built by MetalCraft Marine, one of two fireboats purchased by the City of Vancouver in 2016.
As noted in Wikipedia topic – “Fireboats of Vancouver”, there are 2 generations of “FIREBOAT 1” fire fighting vessels for the city of Vancouver, BC Canada.

In 2016, the original FIREBOAT 1 (gray hull with red stripe) was replaced by FIREBOAT 1 (FB-1) (white top/red bottom). It has an “FB-1” painted on the bow and number “89001” on the hull in a couple of places. Unfortunately, the City of Vancouver does not use an additional identifying universal number such as IMO, ENI or MMSI with their firefighting vessels.
