Description
Português: O Fórum de Mulheres no Esporte reuniu atletas, gestoras da área esportiva, representantes de federações e de escolas do segmento, para aprofundar o debate em torno de projetos e programas desenvolvidos pelo setor público, para fomentar o esporte entre as mulheres.

O evento foi uma iniciativa do Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria do Trabalho, Emprego, Renda e Esporte (Setre), em parceria com a Superintendência dos Desportos do Estado da Bahia (Sudesb) e a Secretaria de Políticas para as Mulheres (SPM-BA).
Entre as participantes estavam:
a judoca Rafaela Silva, medalhista olímpica brasileira;
a pugilista Adriana Araújo, primeira brasileira a vencer no boxe olímpico;
a nadadora Verônica Almeida, bronze nos Jogos Paralímpicos de Pequim;
a jogadora de futevôlei e coordenadora dos Esportes Olímpicos do Vitória, Many Gleize;
a paratleta Nayara Falcão, campeã mundial de canoagem; a ex-jogadora e atual técnica de futebol, Dilma Mendes;
a coach, psicóloga e mentora de profissionais que trabalham com atletas de alta performance, Nell Salgado.
Realizado no Wish Hotel (Antigo Hotel da Bahia).
