Description
Deutsch: Der Marktplatzbrunnen wurde ursprünglich 1719 von Peter van den Branden für den Heidelberger Schlossgarten geschaffen und 1769 von seinem Sohn Johann Matthäus van den Branden umgestaltet und in Mannheim aufgestellt. Zum Brunnen wurde das Denkmal erst um 1887. Dargestellt sind u.a. Merkur, der Gott des Handels und die Stadtgöttin Mannheimia
