Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View from the south-east of the Roman Catholic Church of Saint Peter the Apostle in central Woolwich, South East London. The church was designed in 1841 by Pugin and built in phases, following his design and that of others. To the left: St Joseph's Chapel, built by Frederick Walters in 1887-89. The pointed arch in the south wall of the chancel indicates that Pugin's plans for the south chapel were much more ambitious.
