Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Detail of a base with a devotional text (in French) in Mariapark in the centre of Sittard, the Netherlands. This is not a park as the name suggests but a devotional site in the shape of a cloisters, built in 1891 after a design by Johannes Kayser. The building was aimed at the many pilgrims that visited the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Mary, also built by Kayser, situated accross the street.
