English: Remnants of the south section of the Medieval city wall of Wyck, Maastricht, Netherlands. The nearby Recentoren was part of a partial rebuild and enlargement in the 15th century. In 1558 it was rebuilt into a roundel. It was demolished in 1869. In the 1990s these remnants were discovered and consolidated. |
