Summary

[edit]
Description

Sticky gilia (Aliciella pinnatifida syn. Gilia pinnatifida), Phlox family (Polemoniaceae). Planted in my front yard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

White variety. In Utah and Colorado, it is mostly purple in the wild. Does not tolerate shadow, so it grew up side-wise, away from the fir tree. This is an annual plant, so, it's gone unless it managed to re-seed itself.
