Description
Deutsch: 02.06.2015 09526 Pfaffroda, Am Schloßberg (GMP: 50.696507,13.354002). St. Georgs Kirche von Osten. Zum Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts dringen Weltgeistliche (Pfaffen) aus dem Kloster Ossegg (Osek) von Sayda ins Bielatal vor und legen 1209 auf einem Felsvorsprung den Hof Pfaffroda an und bauten die Kirche. Aus dem Hof ging ein Herrensitz hervor, der zur Herrschaft Purschenstein gehörte und mit dieser zwischen 1352 und 1389 an die Adelsfamilie von Schönberg überging. In den Jahren 1665 - 1671 läßt die Familie von Schönberg die Kirche so gestalten, wie sie heute noch im Großen und Ganzen erhalten ist. Epitaphe an der Kirchhofsmauer.
