Deutsch: Superzelle bei Graz im Sonnenuntergang. Im Vorfeld einer schwachen Kaltfront über NW-Europa hatten sich mehrere Konvergenzlinien über Mitteleuropa ausgebildet. Um 18 Uhr reichten die teilweise schon heftigen Gewitter schon von Salzburg bis nach Mürzzuschlag. Die Salzburger Gewitter überquerten schließlich als schnell ziehender Cluster die Alpen und die westliche Obersteiermark Richtung Graz. Auf seinem Weg nach Graz entwickelte sich der Cluster zu einem MCS. Die auf dem Foto abgebildete Zelle ist eine in diesen MCS eingebettete Superzelle, die sich in der Nähe von Graz im Kainachtal bildete. Die sich entwickelnde Wallcloud dieser Zelle ist rechts neben dem Niederschlagskern zu sehen. Der MCS zog schließlich ohne wesentliche Abschwächung über Nordslowenien und Ungarn bis ins nordwestliche Rumänien. |
