Description
English: Former military motor transport pool (de: Fahrbereitschaft) of the Nazi-German Luftwaffe in Eelde, a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The building, camouflaged as a farm in Heimatschutzstil, dates from the early years of World War II. It was part of the defense works around the nearby Eelde Airport (called Fliegerhorst Eelde at the time) and is a provincial monument (PM2-0286).
Frysk: Yn de earste jierren fan de Twadde Wrâldkriich yn opdracht fan de Dútske Luftwaffe setten garaazjewurkpleats foar frachtweins (Fahrbereitschaft) by Fleanfjild Eelde (doe Fliegerhorst Eelde neamd). It bomfrije gebou, dat kamûflearre waard as pleats yn Heimatschutzstil, is oanwezen as provinsjaal monumint (PM2-0286).
Nederlands: Tijdens de eerste jaren van de Tweede Wereldoorlog in opdracht van de Duitse Luftwaffe gebouwde garagewerkplaats voor vrachtwagens (Fahrbereitschaft) bij Vliegveld Eelde (toen Fliegerhorst Eelde genoemd). Het bomvrije pand, dat werd gecamoufleerd als krimpenboerderij in Heimatschutzstil, is aangewezen als provinciaal monument (PM2-0286).
