Description
Deutsch: 07.10.2012 01067 Dresden: Blick vom Jüdenhof nach Osten über den Neumarkt zur Frauenkirche. Links das Johanneum (GMP 51.051945,13.739550). 1586-1591 (1594) von Paul Buchner als Stallhof (Marstall, Stall- und Wagenremise) des Residenzschlosses erbaut, vielleicht unter Mitarbeit von Giovanni Maria Nosseni. Diente auch als Rüstkammer. 1729 bis 1744 zur Gemäldegalerie umgebaut. Beim nochmaligen Umbau 1872 bis 1876 entsteht die Neorenaissance-Fassade. 1945 durch Bombardierung schwer beschädigt. Nach dem Wiederaufbau öffnete am 03.06.1956 im Stallhof das Verkehrsmuseum. Die Freitreppe von 1729 auf der Schauseite zum Jüdenhof, dem südlichen Vorplatz schuf vermutlich M. von Fürstenhoff.
