[edit]Description2012-10-23 Penguin Inflight Training Suit anagoria.JPG |
English: Penguin Inflight Training Suit in the Technikmuseum Speyer.
The penguin suit, worn on the space stations Salyut, Mir and the International Space Station is, in space, preventing the muscle and bone loss. Merged is a mesh of elastic bands that mimic the extensor and flexor muscles of the human skeleton, the suit provides in weightlessness that the muscles of the cosmonauts are charged artificially when the Cosmonauts move.
