Description

Performance White. The fifth generation began with the 2005 model year, and received a facelift in 2010 and again in 2013. The styling was influenced by the 1st generation Mustangs, headlights set back from the grille like the 67, 68 and the fastback roofline like the 65, 66. In 2007, Ford's Special Vehicle Team launched Shelby GT500, it got the supercharged 5.4 L 32-valve DOHC V8 engine with an iron block and aluminum heads and is rated at 500 hp.

From 2008 on, the GT500 could be sent to Carroll Shelby, to be improved to Super Snake specs, they produced even more power, 605hp or 725hp with twin superchargers. they got Alcoa wheels, fibreglass ram-air Super Snake hood, stripes, carbon fibre front splitter and skirts, larger 6-piston Baer brakes, front and rear brake cooling ducts and aluminium driveshaft.
