Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Diesel locomotive 202.020 from belgian heritage railway association "Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Touristique" (PFT), as seen at the Saint Ghislain loc yard, owned by the association, during on open door event. This locomotive, build 1955 by Anglo Franco Belge under licence of General Motors' Electro Motive Division was originally purchased by the Belgian Railways (SNCB-NMBS) and sold to the Luxemburgish railways (CFL) before it's delivery, as part of Class 1600 with number 1602. Unlike it's belgian counterpart (Class 52, former type 202), the luxemburgish loc have stayed in their original bodywork (with US F-class based so calles "big nose" or "bulldog nose" style). PFT decided to by one of teh retired CFL locs and paint it back to the belgian livery of the sixties (green with yellow stripes making a kind of moustaceh on both ends). Since then, PFT also bought CFL's 1603 after the bankruptcy of the Vennbahn, another heritae railway. This one i sstill in his CFL livery.
