Deutsch: 12.04.2009 04758 Oschatz: Aegidienkirche (GMP: 51.297626,13.107804). Das Gotteshaus geht auf einen gotischen Vorgängerbau zurück, der in der Mitte des 15. Jh. begonnen wurde. 1464 wurde der Grundstein für den spätgotischen Chor gelegt. 1842 ausgebrannt. Den Wiederaufbau von 1846 bis 1849 leitete der Carl Alexander Heideloff. Kanzel und Altar entwarf Heideloff selbst. Der Altar im Hauptchor ist spätgotischen Flügelaltären nachgebildet. Im Mittelfeld ordnete Heideloff ein spätgotisches Kruzifix aus der Oschatzer Gottesackerkirche an. Es erhebt sich vor dem Hintergrund eines durchscheinenden Bleiglasfensters mit den knienden Gestalten von Maria und Johannes sowie zwei Engeln. Die Bildnisse der vier Evangelisten in den Seitenflügeln und die Abendmahlszene in der Predella malte Heideloff mit eigener Hand. Den farbigen Eindruck steigern die Buntglasfenster, die der Meißner Porzellanmaler Carl Scheinert 1858 nach Entwürfen des Malers Julius Hübner ausführte. In den mittleren Chorfenstern sind die Apostel abgebildet. Die äußeren Fenster zeigen den zwölfjährigen Jesus im Tempel und die Segnung der Kinder durch Christus.
