Description
Deutsch: 21.03.2009 04668 Grimma: Links die aus dem Augustinerkloster hervorgegangene Fürstenschule (GMP: 51.235845,12.731013), heute Gymnasium St. Augustin, Klosterstraße 1. 1550 wurde in den Räumen des Augustinerklosters die dritte sächsische Landesschule eingerichtet. Heutiger Bau des Gymnasiums Sankt Augustin ist 1891 als "Fürstenschule" errichtet worden. Rechts das Schloß, 1200 genannt. Älteste Teile spätromanisch 13. Jahrhundert, ausgebaut 1389-1402, umgestaltet 1509-1518. Ganz rechts die Pöppelmann-Brücke über die Mulde. Sandstein-Bogenbrücke, 1716-1719 vom Dresdner Matthäus Pöppelmann erbaut.
