Description
Deutsch: 14.03.2009 04109 Leipzig: Barockhäuser Katharinenstraße 19 und Katharinenstraße 23 / Ecke Brühl, Romanushaus (GMP: 51.342921,12.374840). Dieses wurde 1701-1704 von Johann Gregor Fuchs erbaut. Bauherr war Bürgermeister Dr. Franz Conrad Romanus, ein Günstling Augusts des Starken, der sich bei der Errichtung des palaisartigen Gebäudes übernahm, ins Staatssäckel griff und sein Leben 1746 als Häftling auf der Festung Königstein beendete.
