Deutsch: 24.01.2009 01217 Dresden-Räcknitz: Wohnhaus Räcknitzhöhe 25 (GMP: 51.024130,13.737870), Straßenseite. Das Gebäude liegt auf dem Gelände der Wasserversorgung. Der Volkspark Räcknitz ist eine rund sechs Hektar große Parkanlage in der sächsischen Landeshauptstadt Dresden. Nur knapp die Hälfte der Anlage ist begehbar, der Rest des Geländes ist als wasserwirtschaftliche Anlage der DREWAG nicht für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Beim Bau des Wasserwerks Tolkewitz (1896 bis 1898) wurden auf der Räcknitzhöhe zwei Hochbehälter zur Trinkwasserversorgung der linkselbischen Stadtteile errichtet. Um diese Anlagen zu sichern, hat 1897 der damalige Oberbürgermeister Gustav Beutler den Volkspark in der Umgebung der Wasserhochbehälter anlegen lassen.
