| Description |
The Forrestal Road / Carderock Road overpass over the Clara Barton Parkway. This overpass is beside the access to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division located at the David Taylor Model Basin. As part of a deck replacement with nearby I-495, the two-way stop control at each of the diamond interchange intersections was reassigned to the alternate approach. A week-long interim maintenance of traffic plan was implemented prior to and at the end of the primary maintenance of traffic plan. The intent of this interim plan was to acquaint motorists (generally a localised population) to the pending changes in right-of-way assignment.
