Description
Deutsch: 18.10.2008 01824 Bad Schandau: St. Johanniskirche (GMP: 50.917319,14.154427). Die ev. Kirche mit ihrem achteckigen Westturm besteht in ihrer heutigen Form seit 1679. Der Innenausbau ist von 1877. Der Renaissancealtar aus Sandstein wurde 1574-1579 von Johannes Walter für die Kreuzkirche Dresden geschaffen. Von 1760 bis 1902 stand er in der Dresdner Annenkirche. 1927 kam er nach Bad Schandau. Im unteren Teil ist das Passahmahl der Israeliten in Ägypten dargestellt.
