Deutsch: 24.04.2008 01067 Dresden, Neumarkt: Vor dem Johanneum (Verkehrsmuseum) steht der Friedens- oder Türkenbrunnen (GMP 51.051624,13.739711). Johann Friedrich Steger schuf 1616 den achteckigen Brunnentrog. Nach dem Ende des Dreißigjährigen Krieges schuf Christoph Abraham Walther 1649/50 eine Darstellung der Friedensgöttin Eirene. Nach der siegreichen Schlacht am Kahlenberg gegen die Türken, an der der sächsische Kurfürst Johann Georg III. teilgenommen hatte, ersetzte man 1683 die Statue der Eirene durch eine neue Statue der Kriegsgöttin Bellona von Conrad Max Süßner (irrtümlich als Victoria bezeichnet).
