Description
Deutsch: 21.10.2007 01458 Hermsdorf (Ottendorf-Okrilla), Schloßstraße: Wasserschloß Hermsdorf (GMP: 51.164413,13.819631). Ursprünglich 16. Jahrhundert, in der 2. Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts Neugestaltung. Nach Brand von 1729 holte der Rittergutsbesitzer Adam Friedrich Graf von Flemming den Dresdner Ratszimmermeister George Bähr nach Hermsdorf, der den zerstörten Bau bis 1732 wieder aufbaute und barock überformte. In der DDR-Zeit und danach bis 1999 wurde das Schloß bis als Altersheim genutzt. Der ab 1730 angelegte Barockgarten wurden in der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts in einen englischen Landschaftspark umgewandelt. Er gilt als erster englischer Park in Sachsen. Im öffentlichen Schloßgarten eine Keramikskulptur (Thron des Froschkönigs?) von Rudi Sitte. Ansicht Rückseite. [DSCN30842.TIF]20071021015DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
