Deutsch: 20.04.2007 01796 Struppen, Südstraße 22 (GMP: 50.935554,13.998886): Schloß Neustruppen. Das Rittergut Neustruppen wurde im 15. Jahrhundert gegründet und war lange ein Zubehör des Ritterguts Langenhennersdorf. Das Schloß setzt sich aus zwei Teilen zusammen. Der westliche Trakt mit sehr einfach gestalteten Fassaden dürfte im späten 17. Jahrhundert errichtet worden sein, als Neustruppen dem Rittergutsbesitzer Johann Sigismund von Lindenau auf Zehista gehörte. 1908 kaufte Curt von Dombrowski das Rittergut. Für ihn wurde 1908 bis 1909 der östliche Schloßtrakt erbaut. Der Architekt Robert Weber aus Dresden entwarf eine malerische Gebäudegruppe mit einem weithin sichtbaren Schlossturm. In der DDR diente das Neustruppener Schloß als Tuberkulose-Kurheim und seit 1973 als Pflegeheim für Menschen mit psychosozialen Problemen. 1993 wurde die Einrichtung von der Lebenshilfe e.V.
