Description
Deutsch: 03.08.2006 09429 Wolkenstein: St. Bartholomäus Kirche (GMP: 50.655569,13.065407). Bald nach Errichtung des Schlosses im 12. Jahrhundert stand an dieser Stelle eine Kapelle. Den Stadtbrand von 1687 überstand nur der massive Chor von 1648, an den 1689 der Saalbau des heutigen Kirchenschiffs angefügt wurde. Abgeschlossen wurde der Kirchenbau mit dem 1710 erbauten Turm. Altar aus Marmor, Alabaster und Porphyr vom Bildhauer Johann Heinrich Böhme, 1648 errichtet. Innenrenovierung 1987-1989. [DSCN10827.TIF]20060803250DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
