Description
Deutsch: 15.07.2006 01067 Dresden Neumarkt: Martin Luther Denkmal (GMP: 51.051570,13.741052). Die von Adolf von Donndorf geschaffene Plastik war 1885 vor der Frauenkirche enthüllt worden. Der Kopf Luthers wurde von Ernst Rietschel modelliert. 1945 beim Bombenangriff beschädigt, konnte es 1955 wieder aufgestellt werden. 1981 - 1983 wurde das Standbild vom VEB Elbenaturstein restauriert. 2004 erfolgte nochmals eine Restaurierung.
