Description
Deutsch: 16.08.2003 01454 Wachau, Am Schloß 1 (GMP: 51.158825,13.903120): Wasserschloß, errichtet 1730-1754 auf älterer Grundlage für Johann Georg von Schönfeld. Ab 1800 im Besitz der Herren von Oppel. In der DDR-Zeit sind im Schloß Wohnungen, eine Arztstation, das Standesamt, die Bücherei, der Schulhort und zwei Verkaufsstellen. 1991-1998 werden Dach- und Fassaden saniert, die Fenster erneuert, der Schloßteich entschlammt und die Ufermauern neu errichtet.
