Deutsch: 07.07.2003 17248 Retzow (Rechlin), Parkweg 7: Rittergut, Schloß (GMP: 53.318380,12.764477). Das Gut war lange im Besitz der Familie von Kerkberg, bevor es 1787 Familie von Hammerstein erwarb. Diese ließ 1788 - 1791 durch Umbau einer älteren Anlage das Herrenhauses in der noch heute erhaltenen klassizistischen Form errichten. Es gilt als eines der schönsten Schlösser Mecklenburgs. Vor dem II. Weltkrieg wurde das Dorf Retzow von der Luftwaffe übernommen und das Herrenhaus zur Lehranstalt der deutschen Luftfahrt. Nach dem Krieg wurden hier vorübergehend Flüchtlinge aus den deutschen Ostgebieten aufgenommen, war Kinderheim, bevor es in der DDR 1951 zum Altenheim wurde. Ab 1994 stand das gesamte Anwesen leer.
