Description
Deutsch: 29.04.2003 39326 Groß Ammensleben (Niedere Börde), Kirchplatz 10 (GMP: 52.231335,11.519906): Kloster Ammensleben. Ehemaliges Benediktinerkloster, 1120 als Augustiner-Chorherrenstift gegründet und bald danach den Benediktinern übertragen. Klosterkirche St. Peter und St. Paul, dreischiffige romanischen Pfeilerbasilika (2. Hälfte 12. Jahrhundert, 1230 aufgebrannt und um 1300 erneuert). Im Mittelschiff spätgotisches Kreuzrippengewölbe.
