De bedding van de afgeschafte 'Leireken' spoorlijn Londerzeel - Aalst werd omgevormd tot fiets- en wandelpad. De weg naar Santiago de Compostela loopt een eind over de Leirekens-route. Hier in Opwijk is het nog 2000 km te gaan. The bedding of the decommissioned 'Leireken' railway line Londerzeel-Aalst was transformed into a bicycle and walking path. Many pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela follow the Leirekens route. Here in Opwijk it is still 2,000 km to go. |
