English: Lt. Col. Chad Chalfont, commander of the 2d Battalion, 7th Infantry
Regiment, 3d Infantry Division out of Fort Stewart, Ga., and Sgt. Maj. Anthony Walker Sgt. Maj. 2-7 Inf. Reg. arrived at Adazi Military Base, Latvia, on March 16, 2015. The unit was deployed throughout the Baltic region in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve and will be taking over for the 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment. First Brigade, 3d Infantry Division is the U.S. Army’s current regionally aligned force for Europe.
