Description
English: 1968-08-13. Sergeant John Shay of Ingleburn, NSW, examines an enemy heavy anti-aircraft machine gun found by members of 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), during Operation Platypus. This weapon and others were captured from an enemy base camp during the reconnaissance-in-force operation.
