This one's actually an import, built in 1990, but first registered in November 1991. I'm assuming it's Irish or Channel Islands originally, as it's RHD. You rarely see this B3 generation Passats nowadays, although there are a few of the facelifted B4 versions in my local area. I quite like the look of them- would've been quite different in 1988. This example was actually really rough looking although it might not be obvious from this angle. There's a yellow addition on the rear arch, and it looked like the whole rear window had been broken at some point, and replaced very badly with something else which didn't look like glass. It was also missing the rear wiper. Also note the white door mirror. Anyway, nice to see whatever the condition- I'm sure this is a reliable motor.
