Summary
[edit]Description1984 in Merida station. Spielvogel Archiv2.jpg |
English: Arrival of the train from Palenque in the Mérida-railway station (Calle 55/48), Yucatán, Mexico. A Gringo-backpacker in the foreground.
Photo taken 1984 with a Minox miniature camera. The train trip between Palenque and Mérida was a popular part of the Gringo Trail. Since the beginning of the 90's there are no passenger trains any more at Mérida. So this may be one of the last photos of passengers there. |
