RD4808 Despite appearances, this 244 is just parked in long grass and not laid-up or abandoned! Spotted in idyllic Leithfield Beach in North Canterbury, this is actually the first 244 I have seen for some time. The estates are way more common than the saloons - there was one about the same age as this parked in a street near me for some time, which later disappeared. This was a very clean example, and is obviously well-looked after. |
