Description

Colour; Tuxedo Black. Built from March 1980-October 1981-500 made The VC was the 1st car built by Holden and improved by Peter Brock and the Holden Dealer Team to get a number of things homolagated for racing. The HDT 5.0 was based on the SLE, it also got a front air dam, flares and a 3 piece rear spoiler. The engine was also improved, inlet and exhaust ports enlarged, larger valves and dual exhaust. It was only available in 3 colours; Palais White, Firethorn Red and Tuxedo Black Engine; 160 kw 5.0 V8. This car has the optional rear facing bonnet scoop.

HDT won the Bathurst Hardie Ferodo in the VC in 1980 driven again by Peter Brock and Jim Richards.
