Description
English: Publicity photograph taken on the production set of The Sad and Lonely Sundays, a second unsold pilot of the abandoned medical drama television project The Oath. Pictured were Sam Jaffe (left) and Jack Albertson, who appeared in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. In the press release information, this presentation was supposed to air on Thursday, August 26, 1976, and Albertson's name was circled.

Publicity photos (star headshots) have traditionally not been copyrighted. Since they are disseminated to the public, they are generally considered public domain, and therefore clearance by the studio that produced them is not necessary.

Publicity Photos (star headshots) older publicity stills have usually not been copyrighted and since they have been disseminated to the public, they are generally considered public domain and therefore there is no necessity to clear them with the studio that produced them (if you can even determine who did).
