| Description |
When I was four years old, my father's grandfather, Jack Eatherton, passed away. I was given one of his pipes to remember him by. The pipe is a Dr. Grabow, Savoy model, made in the late 50's or early 60's as best I can tell. Its condition today is the same as the day I received it, which is to say "well used." I admit that I don't remember much about my grandfather, except the smell of the pipe and his big smile. I wish I had could have known him better.
