Summary
[edit]Description1974 DeTomaso Longchamp, front right side, Greenwich 2018.jpg |
English: A 1974 De Tomaso Longchamp at the 2018 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. This car was originally sold to Lebanese businessman Robert Chamoun, who had it flown to Beirut. It only spent two years there (without a garage), after which the family relocated to Illinois. Here, it spent most of its time in a garage, but the time in the Lebanese sun meant it received a repaint in the early naughties. Other than that, fully standard (rare for Longchamps, of which only 409 were built anyhow) down to the T-shifter and the very pedestrian Ford steering wheel. Sold by Chamoun's family in 2010, with a mere 14,000km on the odometer. |
