Description

The ZC Fairlane was built from July 1969-Nov 1970. In 1967, the Australian designed and built Falcon got a completely new look, with its long nose and short tail Mustang styling. The ZC Fairlane was based on the XW Falcon, the 2nd facelift on the original 1967 model, The Fairlane got a different front to the Falcon, it featured a twin headlight grille (now stacked, not horizontal like earlier Fairlanes). It was 127 mm longer in the wheelbase than the Falcon, the front and centre remained the same but got a longer tail, the quarters and boot borrowed from the US Fairlane, the rear seat moved back for more leg room. Models; Custom; 221 cu in 6, bench seat, with 302 V8 option.
