Description

The 1st and 2nd generation Comets were based on the compact Falcon but the 1966/67 3rd generation Comet was based on the larger Fairlane . The Comet got a plusher interior than the Fairlane, bucket seats and console were standard. The top model GT (auto was GTA) got the hood scoops, 335hp 390 V8, heavy duty suspension, sway bar, sporty stripes and engine dress up kit.
